Cory Lewandowski

My name is Cory Lewandowski. I’m an AMI-trained Montessori guide with four years of experience leading an upper elementary environment in DFW, Texas. My wife and I recently relocated to Mesa, and my 3-year-old daughter will also be joining Heartwood in the Primary program. Prior to my Montessori journey I spent five years teaching in Taiwan, worked as an English instructor in Spain, and held roles in the biology and chemistry fields including collecting fisheries data aboard commercial vessels in Alaska and leading a distilling company on the Oregon Coast. These diverse experiences have shaped my deep respect for curiosity and independence, and the value of life-long learning. I’m passionate about helping students grow into confident, capable, and compassionate thinkers beyond the classroom, and I look forward to partnering with you to build a strong, connected community this year.
